About the Creator

I am Amartya Kanodia, a class 12 student from Step by Step School, Noida, and the inventor of the REPELROVER. Driven by a passion for technology and innovation, I conceived the idea of an advanced robot to address the health hazards posed by vector-borne diseases like Dengue and Malaria. In lieu of the fact that such diseases are on an ever-increasing rise in the country, the development of an eco-friendly solution is not only necessary but imperative. With my expertise in programming and Robotics and with a strong desire to make a contribution to the society, I developed Repel Rover to make parks and public spaces safer and more enjoyable for everyone. My commitment to leveraging cutting edge technology for practical solutions underscores my talent and dedication to creating a brighter future.

What is Repel Rover?

Repel Rover is a custom-built robot designed to effectively control mosquito infestation in community parks and outdoor spaces, making them safer and more enjoyable.

Mode of Dispersion

The Repel Rover's Ultra-Low-Volume (ULV) atomizer disperses mosquito repellent in ultra-fine droplets, providing consistent coverage over a large area. The fine mist stays airborne longer, enhancing the repellent's reach and effectiveness.

Advanced Mobility

Powered by a Raspberry Pi 4 and brushless DC motors, Repel Rover navigates uneven park terrains with stability and efficiency. Its robust design ensures consistent performance, even in challenging environments.

Environmentally Conscious

Our organic repellent is safe for both humans and the environment, making it a responsible choice for community spaces. Unlike chemical sprays and fumigation, Repel Rover leaves no harmful residues and poses no risk to visitors.

User-Friendly Control

Operate Repel Rover effortlessly with an integrated PlayStation 4 controller. This intuitive control system allows for precise navigation and easy management of the repellent dispersion process.
